Company Creates Flat Wine Bottles to Help The Environment

A company has created a flat wine bottle to make shipping of the bottle easier and more environmentally friendly. Here's more:

Garçon Wines is hoping to help the planet by changing the shape of wine bottles.

The company has flattened the bottle and made it longer to hold the same amount of wine as a regular bottle.

The flat shape allows more bottles to fit into a box, saving on wasted shipping space and materials. It is also 87 percent lighter than an average glass bottle.

The bottle itself is made out of recycled polyethylene terephthalate plastics that might otherwise end up in a landfill or incinerated.

This is clever! Would you order it?
