Paint the Night Purple, Hosted By Fred

Paint the Night Purple is the annual winter fundraiser to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, the world's leading 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization working to combat Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors and donors, this year the event will take place at Revel Fulton Market on Friday, February 23, 2018. It is an opportunity to engage young Chicagoans, educate them about this disease, and offer a platform to share their stories, talents, and ideas to help the cause--which will incite action among them. Proceeds from this event are imperative to the Alzheimer’s Association’s care, support, research, awareness, and advocacy efforts.

Alzheimer’s disease affects more than 5 million people nationwide, including the 220,000 Illinois residents who are currently living with the disease. Alzheimer’s is the most common form of Dementia—a general term for degenerative diseases of the brain that affect memory and other intellectual abilities. Alzheimer’s is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States, and the only one of the “Top 10” that cannot be prevented, slowed or cured. Please consider supporting us and assisting in our efforts; together we can be an unstoppable force against Alzheimer’s disease.
